Our History

Judson Realty, LLC, was formed in 1997 as the successor company of Judson Realty, Inc.

Judson Realty, Inc., which was founded in 1972 by E. William Judson, was based on real estate holdings that originally formed part of the portfolio of Jules Stein, founder of the Music Corporation of America, Inc. (MCA). From these properties, principally located in the vicinity of 57th Street and Madison Avenue in Manhattan, the company developed into a general service real estate firm that specializes in all aspects of real property management, acquisitions and sales, leasing, appraisals and representation.

In the 1970s, as designers tested the waters with new looks in fashion, so too did they explore new locations in which to showcase their unique styles. Working with these creatives, Judson Realty helped create “Madison Avenue’s Mystique”, a term recognized by Women’s Wear Daily, helping lead the urban renewal of Madison Avenue with a shift from modest retail to the world’s leading luxury brands. Lessees rely on us for our understanding of the market and for our knowledge of what spaces are available or about to become available.
